Fine noodles is a noodle shop set amongst the Korean shops and restaurants in the Eastern suburbs. There is nothing fancy about this restaurant but if you like your handmade noodles, then this place is definitely for you.
A simple menu with noodles and rices dishes to choose from, along with a couple of dumplings. Keep in mind the servings here are quite large, you can easily share to try out the different items on the menu.
Pickled kim chi and radish are complimentary with your meals, and you can have as little or as much as you like. Out of all the Korean restaurants that I have been to, I have to say that these are the biggest homemade dumplings I have ever eaten. They were absolutely amazing, full of deliciousness and definitely enough to fill my tummy.
If you prefer noodles with a bit of spice, then try this seafood noodles with a beef rib based broth, rich but very tasty.
I opted for the other seafood noodles in a hotpot. You can tell that the noodles are handmade, because they were not even. It was once again quite large, the waitress gave me a pair of scissors because there was a whole octopus tentacle on top.
We enjoyed our noodle and dumpling meals at Fine Noodles. The quality was high, ingredients were fresh, the price was very reasonable, and the servings were large. I urge you to give this place a try.
