Rusco & Brusco Tigelleria Bar

Another cafe has opened up on Magill Road.  This time it is the Rusco & Brusco Tigelleria Bar.  It is open everyday from morning till night.  The cafe has double doors and I love it as it is open and very welcoming.  When you drive past you will notice a coffee machine at the front. They use cirelli coffee.

There are plenty of room inside and outside.  It is definitely kid friendly.  Not to mention they have free wifi and newspapers to read at your leisure.  They even have The Australian too.  This is not common in Adelaide Cafes.

We were here for breakfast only.  They have a range of pastries, muesli and of course Tigella as the name suggests.

They specialise in Tigelleria which comes from Italy, thin round bread baked fresh.  To me it was somewhere between a pizza and flat bread.  It was thin but yet crunchy.  There was a pattern on top of the tigella.  You could seriously put any ingredients inside the tigella.  They are small so you can easily have two or three.  I chose the Tigella a Colazione which consisted of a fried egg, pancetta and tomato.  It was better than eating a bacon and egg muffin.  It was not oily yet rather tasty.  I love ... love Tigella.

Smashed avocado with poached eggs were not bad either, crunchy toast with perfectly cooked eggs.

There is definitely some competition between cafes / restaurants happening on Magill Road.  The cafes are of very high standard.  The ones that are not as good won't survive because the foot traffic is limited here (compared to the Parade).  This one will likely make it onto my favourites list.  Do try it out for yourself!!   I will be back to see how things go......
