The moment I walked into this cafe, I felt like I had entered into someone's home. The space is not large but enough to fit a few tables and chairs. I loved the use of windows to allow natural light inside the cafe. The owners welcomed us and sat us down at the table. We were introduced to the specials menu on the blackboard as well as the in house menu. A wide range of vegetarian options are available. Whether it is a small bite or large serves, there is something for everyone.
I couldn't miss the acai bowl with granola and fresh fruit. It was amazingly good.
Gogi berries smoothie was also a highlight, it was so cold that it gave me a brain freeze. I kept sipping on it as it was deliciously healthy. I loved the combination of the berries and carrots mixed in.
Celeriac and cauliflower soup was one of the special items on the blackboard. The delightful aroma of the soup with an underlying tone of creaminess made me want to go back for more.
Last but not least, the rainbow tart was covered with layers of vegetables that ressembled the shape of a tart. It was served with a delicious fresh salad on the side.
This cafe has a lot of potential. You could stop by for a healthy snack, sit next to the window, enjoy a coffee and watch people pass by. Either way it's a nice way to spend time in a funky location.
