Yes I am back at the Stamps Restaurant again. Since I have already blogged about this restaurant before I am going to go straight into the food. This time I came back to try their breakfast menu. Even though the restaurant may look quiet, it's better to make a booking to avoid any disappointment. There are a couple of tables outside if you prefer to absorb the sunshine, or get a table near the window to look at the trees and enjoy the tranquility of the suburb.
One of us had the baked beans which was made in house. These were no ordinary baked beans, they were hearty and absolutely full of flavours. The bacon was fresh and the toast was crunchy.
Normally no breakfast is complete without having 'The lot'. This consisted of eggs to your liking, chipolata, hash brown, tomato, mushrooms and house made baked beans. All eggs were free range eggs and the bacon was from Hahndorf. Very tasty indeed.
The most amazing looking breakfast was the Spanish baked eggs. It was served in a claypot with tomato and chorizo. The eggs were cooked perfectly with runny yolks in the middle. With the natural sweetness of the tomato and housemade baked beans. It was the perfect baked eggs for me.
I think I have found another breakfast destination in the burbs, another one to add to my list.
