Whilst doing Friday night shopping, we decided to go and have some quick Vietnamese food in the Renaissance Arcade. Zen Kitchen caught our eyes with the beautiful interior decor. We had a quick look at the menu and decided to give it a go.
The cold rolls consisted of BBQ pork and prawns. The peanut sauce was thick and cold, as it seemed like it just came out from the fridge. However they were quite tasty.
We ordered one chicken pho and one seafood cellophane noodle soup. Both bowls of noodles looked similar. The chicken had been marinated and pre cooked. There was not much seafood in the clear noodle soup and for some reason this broth was not as hot (temperature) as it should have been.
Throughout the time we were in the restaurant, we could hear the waitress and waiter talking loudly and laughing away. It got a little annoying.
The food was not bad considering the price. It's one of those places that you would go if you are in a rush and wanted something quick and easy.
