If you ever stroll down to Adelaide's beautiful River Torrens, I suggest you make a stop to this little cafe down by the river. This cafe is behind Adelaide Festival Theatre and it's opposite the rotunda in Elder Park, hence the name Elder Park Cafe. Many cafes do not open on public holidays, but this one does.
Simple and healthy breakfasts in a tranquil environment!!
The cafe served simple breakfasts, listed on the glass door on entrance to the cafe. I ordered the food and drinks at the counter. The lady who took our order was so polite, and the guy whom made our coffee was even nicer, it was just smiles everywhere. The coffee was awesome. The breakfast was very healthy. Eggs were poached to perfection, and the freshness of the tomatoes together with the herbs made them taste better than we imagined.
E.B.C. roll was egg and bacon roll. The bun itself was so soft and the tomato relish inside the bun were so tasty.
One thing that I also noticed was if you didn't have access to internet at home, or you needed to connect to wifi. Elder Park Cafe would be the perfect spot!! The upload speed was 31mbit, I didn't think I had seen it that fast ever.
It was a beautiful feeling to enjoy scrumptious breakfasts whilst watching the ducks go by on the calm river. There were many people, jogging along or riding their bikes along the track. What more could you ask for?
