Rosey's Cafe

I am always looking for new places to eat.  This cafe has been around for a while.  I went there at least twice now and both times had been pleasant experiences.  Not far from the Adelaide CBD, down on Unley Road was this cafe.  It is very distinct, a kitchen knife is the door handle.  There are a few tables and chairs, or there are some stools if you prefer sitting near the coffee machine at the back.  Otherwise there are plenty of room at the back outside.  This cafe is always busy for breakfasts.   When we went there it was always full.

There were interesting decorations around the cafe, heater, olden fan near the front, and most interestingly, they had spirit bottles dangling down from the ceiling. just held together by some clamps.  It definitely brought character to this cafe.

Coffees were served in these nice coloured mugs, not much art into the coffee though.  Nevertheless, the coffee tasted good.  Juice was also worth ordering, as it was freshly squeezed!!

Best zucchini fritters in town!

The zucchini fritters with smoked salmon and poached eggs is a must try, one of the best fritters I have had in Adelaide, not doughy and I could actually taste the zucchinis.  Poached eggs were cooked to perfection, runny yolk, just yum!

The omelette with spinach and salmon was also very tasty.  We also tried the big breakfast which consisted of bacon and eggs with spinach and sausage.  The vego breakfast was definitely worth blogging about.  The amount of vegetables that were on that plate was unbelievable.  The best vego breakfast I've had, it had avocado, pumpkin, capsicums, zucchini, mushrooms, tomatoes, and the spread they had was devine!  All very fresh ingredients, together with the perfectly cooked poached eggs definitely made my day.

I have plans to go back to this cafe and try out more from their menu.  The staff were very friendly.  The service was great and the food was awesome, one of my favourites.  I am giving this cafe 5 out of 5 daisies, and I will be back very soon.
