Tasca Viva Restaurant Tapas Bar

Nice place to be on a hot summer's night, situated right before the jetty on Jetty Road. We went there on a what was supposed to be a busy Friday night. There was hardly anyone there. Air con would not had been strong enough if we weren't sitting directly underneath. Great choice of menu to choose from, tried almost all the tapas, but nothing really stood out apart from the croquettes - a must try.

Delicious croquettes

Omelette, salt and pepper squid were tasty. Lamb skewers were a little dry. Spanish seafood salsa was ordinary, there was not much taste to it.  Sangria was refreshing. The dessert platter had too many sauces, churros were tiny. The caramelised sugar on the Creme Catalan was way too thick, it was pretty impossible to dig the spoon in. By the time we could get our spoon in, the creme went everywhere. Espresso martini was very good. Overall, a pretty good experience but needs improvement to make great.
