Alphutte Restaurant has been in Adelaide for a long long time, an award winning restaurant. Every time we go past the restaurant, it is always full of people. We have been to this restaurant multiple times, sometimes just for desserts.
This time, we went there for Friday night dinner. This restaurant had never disappointed us and once again we had a pleasant experience. We were greeted by friendly staff members who showed us to our table.

We were offered wine lists for glasses or we could choose from the cellar for bottles of wines, this time we decided to go for a bottle. The bottle of Rockford was reasonably priced. For entree, we had a platter with fresh lettuce, mozzarella cheese, olives and prosciutto. The prosciutto brought back memories from when I was in Italy. Prosciutto and fresh mozzarella cheese was an excellent match. Between meals were the sorbets which we ordered to clean our palates, very refreshing. Main course was lamb and it was cooked to perfection, meat was just so tender. Veal with creamy mushroom sauce was also a perfect combination. To finish off the strawberries and cream with meringues on the side was absolutely delicious. Brandy snap basket with fresh fruit salad had great presentation and was devine - a must order.
Make sure you make a booking as this place only opens on weekdays and it is always busy. 5 out of 5 daisies, a highly recommended restaurant.
