Magill Estate Kitchen

Magill Estate Kitchen

Magill Estate Kitchen is a newly established eatery right next to the cellar door of the beautiful Magill Estate.  It is a sisterly offering to the restaurant and offers a more casual dining atmosphere compared to the fine dining restaurant next door.  Driving up the road you will notice vines on both sides and the kitchen is located on your left.  Not many people know about this kitchen, and yes it is opened for breakfast.  If you have a group of 8 or more then it is definitely good to make a booking.

A Hereford Beefstouw

A Hereford Beefstouw

A Hereford Beefstouw is located on Hutt Street amongst other well known restaurants.  It originated from Denmark in the 1970s.  The restaurant offers alfresco and also inside dining.  The theme of  Scandinavian design was carried throughout the restaurant.  There was modern art and the simple use of wooden furniture.  There is an all you can eat salad bar, the best self serve salad bar that I have ever seen in Adelaide.

Yue Chinese Restaurant

Yue Chinese Restaurant
Real Chinese food in the burbs!

Siam Thai bistro on Unley Road has been replaced by a new Chinese restaurant called 'Yue Chinese Restaurant'.  There hasn't been a lot of advertisement for this restaurant and it was only by chance that I drove past Unley Road to discover that it existed.  The moment we walked into the restaurant we were welcomed by the friendly owner.  The menu consists of the dishes that you would normally see at a typical Chinese  restaurant.  In my personal opinion, there are probably only a handful of good Chinese restaurants in Adelaide.  Yue Chinese restaurant has been added to my list today.

The Nourish'd Kitchen

The Nourish'd Kitchen

Another new cafe has opened in the eastern suburbs.  Doesn't the name sound so pretty itself?  The Nourish'd Kitchen is located off Magill Road, not far from the city.  It is a little cafe which sits approximately 20 people with a New York ambience.  The moment I stepped into the cafe I was welcomed by the friendly owner.  We sat down at the communal table in the middle.  The use of light and white colour makes the cafe look very bright and clean.  I loved the hanging menus off the front counter.

Miss Perez Kitchen & Bar

Miss Perez Kitchen & Bar

I love to take a drive up the freeway and about 9 minutes I am in the Adelaide hills in Stirling.  As soon as you reach the roundabout, you are surrounded by a lot of restaurants.  Today we decided to make a visit to Miss Perez Kitchen & Bar.  Miss Perez is known for its Spanish influence, although I wasn't sure about that just from looking at the menu, it was very modern Australian to me.
