Café Sweethearts caught our eyes as we were walking down Coventry Street in South Melbourne.  It was quite packed and it was a little warm to sit outside, so the boss pulled two tables together for us to sit inside.  The service was prompt and very friendly.  The menu offers a diverse range of breakfast and brunch options.

Burgers?? Is it the trend at the moment?? I certainly think so.   Burganomix has opened up at the end of Jetty Road in Glenelg.  It is an open cafe / restaurant with plenty of seating inside and outside.  You can take in the sunshine just by sitting there.  We were invited as guests to sample their menu on a beautiful hot summers night.

Vida Comida is situated in the busy Melbourne Street in North Adelaide.  A little boutique corner cafe.  There is a selection of healthy snacks, alternate light meals, super smoothies and of course my favourite, acai bowls. 

They pride on their organic products which are all preservative / additive free, with no refined sugars.

Dip In Cafe

Melbourne is full of quirky eating places, it's great.  At least it's something different.  Dip In Cafe is tucked away down a side street.  A narrow entrance brought us underground to a cafe full of art work.  It made the whole place colourful and cheerful.  

We must have missed the morning rush and got there just before the lunch hour.  I hear that this place gets very busy.

There are often many choices to choose from when you enter a food court.  Kopi & Kitchen stood out from the rest in the City Cross Arcade food court.  May be because of the decor and the private seating area.  It is not very big, so when it gets busy, you would probably have to order the food and drinks then sit down at the general food court area.
