Different people have different pleasures in life and for me it is definitely food. 

I was raised in Adelaide, the most liveable city in Australia.  Many people say Adelaide is by far the most boring city in Australia.  To me this is not true.  Adelaide is well known for its beautiful beaches and wine regions, both of which are within minutes drive from the city.  The beautiful Adelaide Hills, Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, Clare Valley for some Rieslings or Coonawarra for some reds are amongst my favourites. 

I have always enjoyed eating, but never really thought much into it.  As I grew older, I have learnt to appreciate food more and more.  I love to cook, and I love to take pictures, especially of my food.  I love degustations and my favourite cuisine is Japanese.  I am always on an expedition to try new food.  I love to drive up to McLaren Vale, to the stunning views of vineyards and enjoy wood oven pizzas with a glass of wine. Photos make me happy.  They will always bring back memories.  I enjoy looking at the photos as I can remember exactly where I have taken the photos and how I have appreciated those moments.

A lot of friends have asked me for recommendations to restaurants for different occasions, so I thought it is a good idea to put together a blog, something that I can share with my families and friends and whoever out there whom share the same passion for food as much as I do.

All the photos on my website are taken by myself @daisyum.com.  Most of the photos are from my phone and others are from my camera.  I recognise that sometimes there are factors outside the restaurants control which may alter my impression on the day.  These reviews are my opinions only.  These are records of my experiences.   Your opinions and experiences may differ.
